If you ask me the one thing I feel I have changed after giving birth, it would most definitely be my new found panda eyes. Battling insufficient sleep 24/7, it’s no question why most mommies out there has panda eyes as their friends. If you don’t have dark circles under your eyes, oh my, you must consider yourself a very rare species.
If you are like the rest of us, who have dark circles around our eyes, don’t panic yet as there are various eye creams out there that would help reduce them! I have tried too many to remember in the past year, so trust me, the ones below really work!
1, LA MER The Eye Concentrate 15ml £155
Set at a whopping £155, LA MER The Eye Concentrate indeed is expensive (especially for us moms who are always trying to save for the little ones). I’ll tell you why I think it’s worth it. It simply works! I applied this morning and night for 2 days in a row, and already I could see a difference. It comes with a cooling massager, it’s nice and cooling while massaging in the product whilst my blood is circulating. My dark circles are still there but they are not as dark as before. It’s gradually getting lighter. After using this for a week, I literally don’t have to put on any under-eye concealer!
This product is great, so much so I would say it’s comparable to an Age Jet Plasma Rejuvenating Treatment. Yes I know! The only downside of this is you have to continue putting this on for quite some time to see a real difference. I have tried to switch to other products after finishing a pot, but I could see my dark circles coming back so have come back time and time again for this.
2, Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm 15ml £48
If you don’t want to spend so much but still want your dark circles to be gone once and for all, I’d recommend you to try the Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm. Priced at £48, it’s reasonable as a good eye cream yet very effective for treating dark circles as it’s got a regenerating biotechnology with Alguronic acid. I love this as the texture is not runny nor greasy, it’s easy to apply with your fingers and sinks in well. I can feel my eyes instantly hydrated after using this and is great under makeup!
3, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream Synchronized Complex II 15ml £43
If you like more of a gel texture, then the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream is perfect for you! I love using this during summer time as it’s lighter. It boasts it has ChronoluxCB technology (a blend of hyaluronic acid and antioxidants) and has been clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and boost radiance. It’s silky smooth and absorbs well into the skin and you don’t need to put on a lot to feel the difference. One pot will last you a good few months!
4, Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado 14ml £26
Last but not least, I must introduce you to Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado. If you like natural products then this is the one for you! Although it’s with a creamy consistency, this is not thick at all! It glides onto the skin smoothly and is silky smooth to put it under your make up. The avocado oil is extremely hydrating and is perfect even for those with sensitive skin. At £26 only, try it and you won’t regret it!
